Lena Stoffel isn’t only a talented skier, she also has a unique eye for videography and storytelling. In her short film, WINTERFOX, Lena is joined by big mountain snowboarder and friend, Aline Bock. Together they explored Hokkaido, the northern island of Japan. The snow comes down upon Hokkaido in abundance and is so light, you feel weightless as you sail through the powder, navigating the open trees. You can get a glimpse of the magic here.

I SPENT TWO MONTHS IN JAPAN AND WANTED TO SHOW EVERYBODY WHAT HOKKAIDO MEANS TO ME, THROUGH MY EYES. I FEEL SO CONTENT AND CALM IN THAT COUNTRY. IT FEELS LIKE A SECOND HOME TO ME. BUT THIS WAS A BIG CHALLENGE AS I AM NEW IN THE FIELD OF FILMING.
