With the month of March rolling in also comes the thrill of spring shredding. The warm, sunny days on the hill and the transition from solely snowboarding back to hiking, mountain biking, climbing and whatever else you choose to do in the fair weather ahead of us.

Like most snowboarder who will brave negative degree temperatures just to get that one good powder slash or survive 20+ mph winds because no one else will be on the hill – we enjoy being outside. It’s natural for us to want to hike out into the wilderness and just sleep under the stars. Or build up a little shack in the woods to call your own.

For this What We Like Wednesday, I asked VNTRbirds co-founder, Jaime Del Pizzo to send me her top favorite adventure pictures. We’ve been to a lot of new and remote places together and I knew that this task was going to be a tough one; picking through her countless photos of all these magical, scenic and wondrous locations. But in the end she managed to come up with her top 12. Enjoy her beautiful photography below and see more of her adventures by following her on instagram: jaybirdzo
