Caroline Gleich has been getting a lot of attention lately, both positive as well as negative. After years of silently dealing with a stalker who would leave constant messages to tear her down, Caroline decided to stand up against him and bring down cyberbullying. She is first and foremost an adventure athlete, but some of her ‘followers’ just see her as a pretty face branded for advertising. This is what started her drive to prove that she is more than her sponsors’ photoshoots.
Over this last season, her name has been typed out over all the top outdoor media sites and magazines with celebration. In April, Caroline became the fourth person and the first woman to ever complete The Chuting Gallery.
Throughout Utah’s Wasatch Range there are 90 of the gnarliest backcountry chutes. In the 90’s Andrew Mclean created a guidebook titles “The Chuting Gallery” with maps, routes, notes, and suggestions of all 90 chutes. This is an amazing feat to conquer for Caroline.
