Avalanches are no joke. The movies make them out to be something only a badass gets to witness. This isn’t the case. ANYONE who is enjoying time outside in the mountains during the snow covered months (well into summer is a lot of places) can witness, cause or get catch in an avalanche. Here’s a video of a remote triggered avy that is strong and powerful, even the camera crew is standing a bit too close.
