In 2017, French mountaineer Liv Sansoz made a lofty goal. With the history as a world champion sports climber, she set her sights on something higher. She set out from Chamonix, France and climb all 82 peaks over 4,000 meters in the European Alps.

Only a few other women have climbed all of these summits, one taking over 20 years, but Liv wanted to bag them all in a year. After coming back from a big injury when her belayer dropped her on a climb, she continued to get injured. This is what inspired her to prevail over numerous broken bones. She climbed, camped on the edge of mountains, skied and even base jumped. You can see her route details here.

See her journey, it is worth the 22 minutes, believe me.
