Back in 2002, Jen Zeuner and Anne Keller found themselves in the mountain biking town, Fruita, Colorado. In search of cheaper rent that came with the world-class single track, the small town brought on the lifestyle these two women were striving for. In the process, Zeuner and Keller invested in a small pizza shop even though they knew nothing of running a business. The duo put in the hard work over 15 years so far to create a not just a successful pizza place The Hot Tomato, but reshaped the highly conservative town. Now the community of Fruita has been united not just through pizza, but through inclusivity.
