V E N T U R E O U T – 3rd Annual Backcountry Festival

Venture Out Backcountry Festival combines touring with friends, educational workshops & camping next to the fire at Bluebird Backcountry. From Friday, March 3rd through Sunday, March 5th, VNTRbirds brings you days out on the skin track, scavenger hunts, relay races, instructor taught workshops and a bit of howling at the moon around the campfire. Don’t forget the s’mores!
**New this year, lodging available – don’t have a winter rig to camp in? Camp out in a backcountry dome. Space limited.**
THE EXPERIENCE

THE SCHEDULE
· 9:00am: Check in, resort passes & goody bags
· 9:15am-9:30am: Welcome Talk
· 9:30am-12:30pm: Group or solo tours, sign ups available for various skin tracks on the resort.
· 12:00pm-1:00pm: Lunch (BYO)
· 1:15pm-4:00: Backcountry Scavenger Hunt & Various Workshops at Basecamp
· 5:00pm-10:00pm: Dinner (BYO), Bonfire & s’mores
· 9:00am: Bluebird Backcountry opens
· 9:00am-12:00pm: Group or solo tours, sign ups available for various skin tracks on the resort.
· 12:00pm-1:00pm: Lunch (BYO)
· 1:15pm-3:30: Backcountry Team Relay Race
· 1:15pm-4:00: Various Workshops at Basecamp
· 3:30pm-4:00pm – KICK ASS RAFFLE
· 5:30pm-10:00pm: Dinner (BYO), Bonfire & Dance Party!
· 9:00am: Bluebird Backcountry opens
· 9:00am-12:00pm: Group or solo tours, sign ups available for various skin tracks on the resort.
· 12:00pm-1:00pm: Lunch (BYO)
· 4:00pm: Bluebird Backcountry closes
Each participant receives an automatic $50 off from VNTRbirds scholarship fund.
HELMETS ARE REQUIRED.
Cancelation policy:
· Notice of cancellation more than 14 days in advance will receive a full refund less a 10% administrative fee.
· Notice of cancellation less than 14 days in advance will receive no refund. Clients may have the option to transfer to another course or clinic with a $50 transfer fee (if available).
There is a processing fee on credit card transactions that is not collected by VNTRbirds. Please note that because this fee is not collected by us, we are unable to refund this fee in the event that a refund is requested.
COVID policy & guidelines:
· Employees will conduct daily symptom checks.
· We will use the recommendations from the CDC and abide by Colorado state safety orders.
All participants will be required to fill out a waiver and a medical history form before the event.
