The first day we went over to Wanaka was on the 15th of August. We had a set plan to go over and ride for the whole day, but the weather turned on us and was too windy to ride at the resorts so we decided to spend a day in Wanaka and soak up some sun on the lake front…not a bad day at all!

On the 29th of August, I trekked out with my homie’s, Alexe Patenaude and Adie Lawrence who also work at The Remarkables came along to shred a day at one of New Zealand’s best park mountains, Cardrona!
Adie was competing in The North Face Freeski Open NZ at Cardrona. This is one of the biggest Park and Pipe competition’s in the Southern Hemisphere. With Cardrona hosting the event it created a world-class Halfpipe and Slopestyle course…ah yeeah! The day was filled with great atmosphere and all of our stoked levels were an all time high the whole day…winning!
