Venture Out with VNTRbirds – Women’s Backcountry Tour / Campout

Combine backcountry touring, backyard games & camping out next to a fire at VNTRbirds first annual Venture Out women’s backcountry festival at Bluebird Backcountry. On Sunday, March 21st and Monday March 22nd, VNTRbirds will be hosting two fun-filled days with backcountry beginner and intermediate tours, scavenger hunts, relay races and a bit of howling at the moon around the campfire. And don’t forget the s’mores!

Sunday March 21st: Come for the day and tour unguided or sign up for VNTRbirds beginner backcountry tour (add on) and enjoy the morning on the hill. Bluebird Backcountry has rental options for all the gear you need. *More details on Beginner Tour in registration.
In the afternoon will be a scavenger hunt sponsored by Saga Outerwear. Anyone can sign up! Search out cornices and Grey Jays to win some great gear.

Sunday Night – Join us for a short sunset tour before settling in for the night. Anyone can sign up! VNTRbirds will have a block of the Bluebird Backcountry parking lot reserved for our bonfire and camp out. You need to have your own camping vehicle or tent and other necessary items. We’ll provide the s’mores and fire. **Camping not your style? There are some indoor options close by listed in registration.

Monday March 22nd: Come for the day and tour unguided or sign up for the VNTRbirds intermediate backcountry tour (add on). If you have 1-5 days in the backcountry you are qualified to come on this tour: including the beginner tour the day before. ***More details on Intermediate Tour in registration.
